In Love Club Reopens With Sparkle After Renovation

Put on something snazzy and bring the crew to the renovated LOVE club!

A nightlife staple since 2015, In Love (also just called “LOVE”) Memphis celebrated their re-opening on June 11th after closing at the top of the year to undergo major renovations throughout the building.

The $1.5 million dollar renovation included both cosmetic and operational updates including kitchen improvements, plumbing and HVAC system upgrades, a redone patio area, and new furniture, as well as a redesign of the building’s interior layout.

Memphis Nightclub

In the past, LOVE had a prominently featured dance floor surrounded by couches and booths, but now, it feels much more posh!

While there’s still a little standing room for you to groove in, the new design features a complete shift in the layout, offering way more seating throughout the building and at the bars.

The atmosphere feels much more elevated, like an upscale lounge that you’d visit in larger metropolitan areas. The Bottle Girls are still poppin, and the lighting system is out of this world!

The outdoor patio area (with its own bar) is perfect for lounging if you’d prefer to sit outside and enjoy the breeze, while inside you’re treated to plush couches and more cabana-inspired VIP sections; there’s even a Super Booth section that seats 15-20 people.

THE BEST LADIES ROOM IN MEMPHIS? Maybe so!

The highlight of the renovations in my opinion is The Women’s Powder Room. It’s a social media lover’s DREAM. The aesthetics are insane. (I’m obsessed with the floral wallpaper and the cute little seating areas that are perfect for a selfie moment.) It’s a must visit for a cute pic with friends before you leave.

LOVE is open Thursdays through Mondays, with each day offering a different musical selection. Owner Curtis Givens has always had a knack for hiring the best DJs in the city for weekend/celebrity hosted nights, in addition to featuring local bands and singers for live music sets throughout the week.

So whether you gather with co-workers for an early after-work set, or get extra fly with your crew and go out to toast to the good life on the weekends, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

In addition to their after work and evening hour sets, they’ve also added brunch from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday, so the next time you’re looking for something new to do, try LOVE.
