Third Thursday Trek at Overton Park

Join Overton Park Conservancy staff on a walk while we discuss a specific ecological concept for the month. Walks scheduled for the third Thursday of each month in the spring and fall.

This month: Who Runs the World? Squirrels!

They’re here, they’re there, they’re everywhere! But did you know this wasn’t always the case?

In this month’s Third Thursday Trek, we’ll explore the history of urban squirrels and how they became one of the most beloved (infamous?) city slickers. By the end of our time, you’ll decide: public pet or public pest?

This program will be held on natural and pavement surfaces.

This event is pay-what-you-can, with a suggested contribution of $5 per person.
