The Lightning Xpress show is the union of two talented rock/blues artists that has been selling out shows bringing high-energy and great music to venues across the country. The bands perform a non-stop 2 hour plus concert where they each do a set and then seamlessly interchange members during parts of the concert to create a unique special experience.

Alex Lopez and The Xpress(ALX): Renowned guitarist and songwriter Alex Lopez, with his band The Xpress, electrifies audiences with a blend of blues, rock, pop, and funk. Known for revitalizing blues for new generations, they mesmerize with melodic songs from Alex's 8 acclaimed albums, including two top ten Billboard charting releases. And Alex's NEW release "Retro Revival" has already hit #1 on both the blues and blues/rock radio charts!! Memphis Lightning: Dynamic and internationally touring, Memphis Lightning features award-winning musicians, including guitar virtuoso Lightning Thiboutot who wows audiences with his guitar fretwork equivalent to guitar pyrotechnics. The band, which includes Grammy-nominated Big Red and members "The Rock" and "Mr. Mayhem," is celebrated for their fusion of styles reminiscent of Danny Gatton, Roy Buchanan, David Bowie, and Mick Jagger blending rock and rockabilly with a tinge of blues.

Flyway Brewing Memphis is a prominent 10-barrel microbrewery, live entertainment venue and restaurant located in the Edge District. It operates in the historic space formerly occupied by High Cotton Brewing Co. and Edge Alley at 598 Monroe Ave
