Local Business, Local Leadership: Fundraiser Supports Amber Huett-Garcia for District 13

Local business owner Louis Connelly is hosting a fundraiser in support of Amber Huett-Garcia’s campaign for Shelby County Commission, District 13, on Tuesday, May 27 from 6–8 p.m.

The event invites the community to come together, enjoy food and drinks, meet new people, and hear directly from Amber about her vision for District 13. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and connect in a relaxed, community-focused setting.

In support of the campaign, Louis has pledged to donate the equivalent of 13% of all sales during the event.

Supporting local businesses is deeply personal to Amber, whose parents owned and operated a small-town bar for more than 20 years. The fundraiser is a chance to support both a Memphis business and a candidate committed to serving Shelby County.
