Description:
Sounds Like Collierville is a free, family-friendly bluegrass and Americana music festival that debuted in 2025, welcoming more than 6,000 attendees to the historic Town Square. In 2026, the festival returns with a special 250th anniversary theme, exploring the powerful role music has played in shaping the American story.
Thursday, April 23
Kick off the celebration with a program that blends live performances and storytelling to explore 250 years of American popular music. Location: Sanctuary on the Square (104 N Rowlett St). This is a free event, but registration is required due to limited seating. Registration opens Monday, March 23.
Friday, April 24
Celebrate the 27th annual Collierville Square Bluegrass & Old Time Music Jam. Bring your instruments or just a chair to listen to the community jam and performances by Kelly Hunt & Sara Morgan followed by The Tennessee Tradition at 8 p.m.
Saturday, April 25
Enjoy a full day of music with seven performances by local and regional bluegrass and Americana artists. Free interactive workshops—including guitar, banjo, fiddle, resonator guitar, and songwriting—take place throughout Town Square, welcoming beginners and seasoned musicians alike.
Over three days, the event transforms Collierville’s historic Town Square into a gathering place where residents and visitors can celebrate America’s 250th anniversary through music and community traditions.
