ArtoberFest

ArtoberFest is an annual nonprofit fall festival held every October to celebrate the multicultural creativity of independent artists across all genres and media throughout the Greater Memphis area.

Founded on the belief that art should be accessible, collaborative, and rooted in community, ArtoberFest provides a space free from financial, institutional, and interpersonal barriers, where meaningful connections are built through creativity.

What began as a grassroots gathering featuring emerging Memphis artists and a small, intimate audience has grown into a vibrant community of artists, local vendors, entrepreneurs, and supporters. Each year, ArtoberFest works to create opportunities for creatives to showcase their work, expand their networks, and grow their careers while strengthening Memphis’s thriving arts and culture scene.
