Description:

Tour 260+ gardens across 35+ neighborhoods in 21 days!

Memphis is blooming and you're invited! For six weeks this summer, over 260 gardens across Memphis throw open their gates for one of the Mid-South's most beloved events. Wander through hidden backyard retreats, jaw-dropping country estates, thriving urban farms, and everything in between. This is Memphis like you've never seen it.

What's waiting for you: Intimate city gardens tucked between bungalows. Sprawling country grounds in full summer color. Working farms with chickens, bees, and alpacas. A railroad garden. Cut flower farms you can browse and buy from. Aquaponics in action. CBD production you can watch up close. Heirloom plants and handmade garden art for sale. Over 35 neighborhoods. 21 tour days. Zero reasons to stay home.

Signature Event: Cooper-Young Garden Walk May 16–17, 2026 The crown jewel of the tour returns for its 10th year! Over 100 gardens, live musicians, inspiring speakers, and garden vendors fill one of Memphis' most vibrant, historic neighborhoods for a weekend you won't forget.

Gardens are open Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays throughout the tour.

Tickets are completely FREE — made possible by the generous support of the Dr. Rudy Campbell Foundation.

Whether you're a lifelong gardener or just someone who loves a beautiful day outside, the City Wide Garden Walk is your invitation to discover the green heart of Memphis.
