The University of Memphis Box Gallery opens its spring 2026 season with a digital photography show featuring artists Axel Anaya, Rachel Christopherson, Winnie Marchel, and Jaden Stanley.
Portraits and Perspectives features a diverse range of photography styles ranging from elegant black & white documentary work to theatrically colorful surrealism. Each artist brings their unique vision to the exhibition, showcasing how they view the human experience from behind the lens of their camera.
The show runs from February 26th to March 9th, with an opening reception taking place Thursday, February 26th from 5:30pm to 7pm. The Box Gallery is located at 3715 Central Avenue, in Room 100 of the Art and Communications Building. Admission is free and the gallery will be open to the public from 10-4 Monday through Friday.
