A Day of Tasters: Welding

The Metal Museum offers a roster of innovative and affordable classes in blacksmithing, welding, casting and non-ferrous metals. Whether it's a "taster," a three-hour, one-day or weekend workshop, you are sure to learn a lot, have fun and make beautiful metal items that you can be proud of.
 

MIG Welding is referred to as the “hot glue gun” of steel and is the easiest type of welding to learn. Participants will be given small steel shapes and weld a small sculpture. For health and safety, please let the shop staff know if you have a pacemaker or internal defibrillator.

Prerequisites: none | Level: Beginner | Limit: 4 per session | Tuition: $40 per session | Material Fee: $10 per session | Ages: 15+ (If minor- parent/guardian must be present)
