Erin Austen Abbott is a freelance writer and photographer, living in Water Valley, Mississippi with her husband, son, and their four animals. She is also an author, currently working on her third book. 
 
When she and her family aren't traveling and looking for their next family field trip, they can be found close to home, exploring the hills of North Mississippi and enjoying their small-town living.
