Discover Bite-Sized Art at DVOUR Desserts

DVOUR Desserts in South Main is serving up edible masterpieces from their signature mini cheesecakes to creative brioche donuts. With rotating flavors and intricate designs, these treats are as stunning as they are delicious.

The star of the show at DVOUR Desserts is undoubtedly their signature mini cheesecakes, each one meticulously crafted and beautifully decorated.

If you’re lucky enough to get there early, you might snag one of their top flavors like ube, cookies & cream, or strawberry. These aren’t just desserts—they’re edible works of art, easily some of the most stunning mini cheesecakes you’ll ever see.

When I jokingly compared the artistry level to that of Phillip Ashley’s chocolates, owner Travis Brady laughed—not because it was clever, but because he hears the comparison often. In Memphis’ competitive dessert scene, it’s one of the highest compliments you can get, and it’s well-deserved.

The mini cheesecakes weren't always in the plans for DVOUR Desserts. When the full sized slices of new flavors weren't selling well, it was Tyler Jividen, the head chef and business partner, who decided to buy smaller molds and dress them up in with colors and designs. That's when people began to feel a little more adventurous and buying the new flavors. Now, the mini cheesecakes account for the bulk of their sales.

"Tyler is the best guy," Brady said. "Money doesn’t fill his cup. Creativity fills his cup. He loves to be creative."

In the back of the store, there is a board titled "Flavortown" that has 150+ different flavors and ideas to use. Fall flavors are the just the latest additions like pumpkin spice latte which is Brady's personal favorite.

While their mini cheesecakes steal the spotlight, I could easily write a love letter to their brioche donuts, available every Saturday until they sell out.

On my visit, they had flavors like tiramisu, caramel, strawberry cream, and almond rocher, but since I already had my cheesecake fix, I opted for the two savory options: everything bagel and smoked salmon.

I expected them to be good, but I wasn’t prepared for how amazing they truly were—rich and indulgent, perfect for a weekend treat.

DVOUR recently started a create-your-own cheesecake table on special nights. The next opportunity is Friday, Sept. 17 for Trolley Night. You can also have them do this set up at events.

Love one of their mini cheesecakes? Soon, customers will be able to order onlie their favorite mini cheesecake flavors in full sizes.

Creativity is always at the forefront of DVOUR's process. For 901 Day, they made a caramel banana Moon Pie cheesecake shaped like the Bass Pro Pyramid—an absolute masterpiece, and I’m still kicking myself for being out of town that weekend.

Brady said they take it to heart what their customers say and that inspires the changes inside the store.

"We’re trying to be as innovative as possible," he said "By listening to the customers, we’ve been able to guide the business into a better version of it and by failing and testing new things out."

I can’t wait to see what they come up with next.

Build your perfect Memphis meal:

I love to eat so if I were to have only one meal left.. I’m going all out. I’d start with an app of Gumbo Fries from Blue City Cafe or Bayou Fries from Chef Tam, wings from Good Fortune or Central’s (honey gold and Jamaican Jerk), potato salad from Fat Larry’s, side of bbq spaghetti from Bar-B-Q Shop, and fried okra from Soul Fish. All paired with a Beale Street Brewing Space Age Sippin’.

Your most memorable Memphis moment:

College GameDay on Beale Street. That was an electric and perfect morning. I was still working in news then and was able to take it in up close and on the stage at some points. The fun and joy of everyone down there that morning is unbeatable.
