For more than 50 years, Circuit Playhouse, Inc., Memphis’ largest professional theatre company, has delivered a theatric escape. Step into the entertainment with the productions hitting the stage for Season 56.

They also offer Pay-What-You-Can nights which allow patron to enjoy the performances no matter their financial situation. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. a week before the performance. See the schedule here.

Waitress (August 16 - September 15, 2024)
A sweet and inspiring story baked into a musical. It tells the tale of Jenna, a waitress and expert pie maker, who dreams of a way out of her small town and loveless marriage.

The Wizard of Oz (November 15 - December 22, 2024)
A timeless adventure over the rainbow. Join Dorothy, Toto, and a band of unlikely friends as they navigate the wonders and dangers of Oz.

Parade (January 17 - February 16, 2025)
A poignant and powerful musical set against the backdrop of early 20th-century Atlanta, focusing on the trial of Leo Frank.

Caroline, or Change (April 25 - May 18, 2025)
A riveting musical drama set in 1963 Louisiana, exploring the life of Caroline, an African-American maid, and the societal changes swirling around her.

A Bronx Tale (June 13 - July 13, 2025)
A captivating musical of respect, loyalty, love, and family, set against the backdrop of the 1960s Bronx.


What the Constitution Means to Me (September 13 - October 6, 2024)
A boundary-breaking play that breathes life into our Constitution and imagines how it will shape the next generation of Americans.

Junie B. , Toothless Wonder (November 8 - December 22, 2024)
Dive into the world of first grade with the spunky and unforgettable Junie B. Jones.

Who's Holiday (November 22 - December 22, 2024)
A wildly funny and heartfelt adult comedy that tells the story of Cindy Lou Who as you've never seen her before.

Skeleton Crew (January 31 - February 16, 2025)
Set in the heart of the 2008 financial crisis, this gripping play tells the story of a group of workers at the last exporting auto plant in Detroit.

Seussical – Theatre Young Audience (March 14 - April 13, 2025)
A fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza that brings to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters.

Punk Rock Girl (March 21 - April 13, 2025)
A vibrant and energetic musical featuring strong, rebellious women in punk rock.

Chicken & Biscuits (May 9 - June 1, 2025)
A tasty new comedy full of family, friction, and forgiveness.


Coco Queens (July 12 - July 28, 2024)
A vibrant and heartfelt story celebrating the resilience and spirit of four black women.

Six Men Dressed like Joseph Stalin (January 10 - January 26, 2025) 
A thought-provoking play that delves into the absurdity and tragedy of power.

THE HOT WING KING by Katori Hall
The Circuit Playhouse || May 10 – June 2, 2024 *Regional Premiere
A searing new comedy, The Hot Wing King follows a group of friends as they prepare for the “Hot Wang Festival” in Memphis, TN. As Cordell and his beau Dwayne embark on their journey to win the “crown,” they find their way through their personal struggles and relationships, figuring out the true meaning of community.
