I’ve talked about this hotel before, but I’ll say it again—if you haven’t stopped by the Hyatt Centric for a drink or dinner, put it on your list for date night / girls night / post-work snazzy meetup immediately.
Cimas is a Latin-inspired restaurant open for all three meals including daily brunch. They have indoor and outdoor seating with a view. Head up to Beck & Call on roof for drinks and snacks.
PS. If you’re not a downtowner—this hotel is to the west of the Orpheum. You can’t miss it.
Dory Restaurant
Voted in the top 10 for USA Today’s 10Best New Restaurants 2021 competition!
Dory is a cozy, upscale restaurant tucked into Brookhaven Circle that opened in 2021. The family-run spot, helmed by David and Amanda Krog, is unique in Memphis: they certainly deserve their number 4 spot on USA Today’s list.
Dory offers a chef’s choice six-course tasting menu for dinner. That menu changes monthly because Chef David Krog uses the freshest local ingredients.
On Tuesdays, it’s a four-course menu—plus you can come by the bar for cocktails and snacks anytime. Keep up with their schedule changes, new menu nights, and specials on Instagram.
P.S. If you’re not familiar, Dory is a bit north of Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen, in that area. They do have some parking in front.
