5 Places for Afternoon Tea in Memphis

No need to fly across the pond for an authentic afternoon tea experience. There are five team rooms to provide the ultimate afternoon tea with a southern twist.

We may have Bridgerton to thank for the increasing popularity and desire to enjoy a nice cup of tea, light sandwiches, and sweets. In addition, these locations are not restricted to afternoon teas and offer a la carte menu items and drinks.

Nostalgic Tea Rooms can be found located inside the Sheffield Antiques Mall. The family behind this high tea experience is originally from England so it can’t get more authentic than that! This is also the most affordable option for an afternoon tea experience. Each high tea feeds two people and comes with a selection of English finger sandwiches, mini desserts, and tea or substitute beverage. Occasionally, they also offer crumpets (which happens to be one of the hardest treats to find in the Memphis-metro).
