Monday

Mondays in Memphis are stacked. Start your evening at Medical District Park (formerly Health Sciences Park) for a free yoga class with Camille Rose every Monday in April at 5:30 p.m. All ages and levels are welcome. All you need to bring is your mat and water. Registration is required and space is limited.

Head to the Overton Park Shell at 5:30 p.m. for Twilight Yoga and Pilates, part of the Baptist Health & Wellness Series. This rotating Monday evening series is free and open to all.

Then at 6:00 p.m., join instructor Bridget at River Garden for Hustle & Flow Pilates on the riverfront. This free class runs every Monday through September from 6:00–7:00 p.m. Bring your mat or towel, water, and an open mind.

Tuesday

Tuesdays start early with free Senior Yoga in the Park at Audubon Park (Pavilion 1) from 9:00–10:00 a.m. with instructors Arielle and Jatziry. All skill levels are welcome — just bring a mat and a friend. Part of the Play Your Park series through Memphis Parks.

In the evening, the Overton Park Shell hosts free Zumba at 5:30 p.m. as part of the Baptist Health and Wellness Series — dance your cares away under the Shell.

At 6:00 p.m., flow with instructor Candace for Yoga on the River at River Garden. This free series runs every Tuesday through September along the mighty Mississippi.

Wednesday

Wednesdays are packed with options. Start your morning with free Senior Yoga in the Park at Audubon Park (Pavilion 1) from 9:00–10:00 a.m. with instructors Arielle and Jatziry — all levels welcome.

At 5:30 p.m., Ballet Memphis leads free Pilates in the Park at the Overton Park Shell — all ages, all levels, as part of the Baptist Health and Wellness Series.

At 6:00 p.m., you've got two more choices. Instructors Brittney and Randii lead free Yoga in the Park at Audubon Park (Pavilion 1) from 6:00–7:00 p.m. — part of the Play Your Park series through Memphis Parks.

Or if you want something higher energy, on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from March through September, instructor Debra leads free Step Aerobics at Fourth Bluff Park from 6:00–7:00 p.m. Steppers are available first come, first served, or feel free to bring your own — all levels welcome.

Thursday

No scheduled outdoor classes on Thursdays — yet! This is a great day to explore Memphis on your own. Hit the trails at Shelby Farms Park, walk or bike the Wolf River Greenway, or get a pickup game going at one of the city's parks.

Friday

No outdoor classes on the calendar for Fridays either, making it the perfect day for a self-guided workout. Try a run along the riverfront or explore the Big River Crossing for one of the best views in the city.

Saturday

Start your Saturday with free Yoga in the Park at Audubon Park (Pavilion 1) from 9:30–10:30 a.m. with instructors Brittney and Randii. Part of the Play Your Park series through Memphis Parks — all skill levels welcome.

Wiseacre Brewing Co. has also partnered with local fitness groups to bring you a different free class on select Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. at their downtown location. From Pilates to yoga to barre, it's a great way to try something new and meet new people and every class is beginner-friendly. Check their page for the latest lineup and sign up in advance. Bonus: stay for Hoppy Hour after class and enjoy 10% off your draft beer tab!

Sunday

Rest day! You've earned it. But if you're itching to move, lace up your sneakers and explore one of Memphis's parks or greenways on your own — Shelby Farms Park and the Wolf River Greenway are great options for a run, walk, or bike ride.

Coming Soon

Shelby Farms Park offers free fitness programs for the whole family, and their latest class lineup is coming soon. Registration is required, and beginners are always welcome.

The Overton Park Shell updates their schedule regularly, so check back often for new classes and dates.
