Stay at the Ultimate Crash Pad: Beale Street’s Only AirBnB

You know the slogan– Beale Street: Home of the Blues and an AirBnB? Yup! I want to welcome you all to the “Beale Suite.”

Everything is Within Walking Distance

We love a good staycation over here. There’s nothing like packing a duffel bag (or carry-on sized luggage) and driving a few minutes down the street for a mini getaway. It’s the best way to regroup and refresh without having to plan too much.

My staycation weekend was very simple: check into the Beale Suite, kick my feet up and relax, walk over to the Grizzlies game, hangout on Beale Street, and dive into bed. It was the most convenient weekend I had in such a long time. Between the holidays and all my friends' birthdays being back to back, it was rewarding to have as much fun as I did with everything being within walking distance.

The Ultimate Crash Pad

Getting to the AirBnB is super simple. It's on the same block as Blues City Cafe. I absolutely love that it’s marketed as “Beale Suite” because it sits right above Beale Sweets.

When you first walk in, you’re greeted with dark wood stairs. The space is so open and inviting. Beale Suite features 1 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom that’s perfect for a couple or small group of friends who want immediate access to one of the most iconic streets. Now, the AirBnB listing says it sleeps 4, and they aren’t lying. In the living room, you’ll find a Murphy bed– it’s so convenient and saves lots of space.

The Perfect Key Amenities

Listen, I pay attention to all the details. Key amenities that will make or break my stay are the comfortability of the bed and the shower. I don’t mean to be dramatic, but the water pressure in the shower is a dream and all I ever want in life. I got a steam treatment and mini massage all in one. The Beale Suite deserves 5 stars based on that alone!

And of course, the bed was so comfy. There are no doors from the kitchen and living room, just black out curtains for privacy (which I loved.) If you like complete darkness and comfort while sleeping, this bedroom was made specifically for you!

Catch a Game, Listen to Live Music, And Head to Bed

An AirBnB on Beale Street is a no brainer. I called up a friend to go to the Grizzlies game. We left the Beale Suite about 15 minutes before tip-off, even though it only takes 3 minutes to walk to FedEx Forum. There were lots of Grizz fans hanging out on Beale Street before the game. You could easily grab a drink and a quick bite to eat and pregame with Grizz Nation. You know our camaraderie is unmatched!

Afterwards, we headed down Beale Street over to B.B. King’s Blues Club to catch some live music. It’s always a good time there. The band playing that night had everyone dancing and singing along to Prince, The Temptations, and everything in between. At the end of the night, it was nice to walk a few steps back to the AirBnB and head to bed.
