Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I get local Memphis beer?
You can buy beer at the taprooms listed below, and you can order Memphis beer from plenty of bars, restaurants, and stores. Check out the brewery websites; most of them have a list of where you can find them.

Do Memphis breweries have food or food trucks?
If you get hungry, most of these places have a regular schedule of food trucks for your Memphis food truck eating pleasure. I've found that checking social media is your best bet, especially Instagram. I've linked to brewery websites and IG accounts in each section below.

Can I tour a Memphis brewery? Most are not offering tours regularly, but if you have a group you could maybe call and set something up. Wiseacre is the exception; they offer tours of both of their taprooms via advanced registration on their website.

More Places To Drink Memphis Craft Beer

I'd be remiss if I didn't also recommend you check out Hammer & Ale, which has 20+ beers on tap, including most all of the local beers. They serve pints as well as tastings, so you if you only have time for one stop but want to try all the Memphis beers, this is your go-to. They also serve sandwiches and have indoor and outdoor seating.

For the best in-store selection and knowledgable beer staff, check out Joe's Liquors. High Point Grocery also has a good craft beer section.

Be sure to check out the new DRINKS section of the blog for more beer, cocktails, and coffee content.

And if Memphis brewery tours are your thing, you might want to look into Old Dominick's distillery tours, too.

Mark — honestly any of the ones with taprooms would be great. I've been to or hosted events at most of them and had great experiences! At this time, though, I'm not sure who's hosting events so that might narrow it down for you.
