2020 Mid-South Christmas and Holiday Parades

Most of the Christmas parades in the area have been cancelled or altered to be a drive-through/reserve parade/different kind of event. Read through this list of all the Memphis Christmas parades and Mid-South Christmas parades including dates, times, and routes for 2020.

Memphis Christmas and Holiday Parades 

– Memphis Christmas Parade In Whitehaven: cancelled for this year, but Channel 5 will air a recording of a past parade on TV on November 28th – details 

Hernando Christmas Parade 2020: cancelled

Collierville Christmas Parade 2020: cancelled; however, Christmas In Collierville in the Town Square is still happening on select days – details

Millington Christmas Parade 2020: As of Nov. 27th, this parade was still scheduled to take place on December 5, 2020 at 1 p.m. beginning at Newport Avenue, and traveling down Navy Road to Leroy Boatwright Street as usual. City officials have asked that guests maintain six feet distance between other guests or park and view parade from your vehicle.

– Olive Branch Christmas Parade: cancelled

Arlington Christmas Parade: As of November 27th,, the Town of Arlington will host a modified Christmas Parade on December 5th at 11 a.m., beginning at Arlington High School and concluding at Arlington Automotive. Everyone must wear masks “at all times” and observe social distancing. No candy, throws, or flyers will be distributed.

Bartlett Christmas Parade 2020 “Reverse Parade: Bartlett will host a “reverse” Christmas parade this year on December 5th from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. at W.J. Freeman Park. A reserve parade is “when the participants are static and the spectators drive by the participants in their cars”.

Horn Lake: Horn Lake will host a Drive-Through Santa Clause event  on December 5 and they have a City Hall Christmas tree, as well.

Southaven Christmas Parade 2020: Southaven will host a Southern Lights drive-through Christmas parade this year from Thanksgiving Day through December 30 at M.R. Davis Library at 8554 Northwest Drive. They’ll also have a Carpool Cinema with a screening of The Grinch on December 11.

Germantown Holiday Parade: The Germantown parade is cancelled for this year; however, the City of Germantown will host a Virtual Tree Lighting on November 27th.

Memphis Holiday Parade 2020: Memphis will not host a Holiday parade on Beale Street this year; however there will be a 2020 Holly Jolly Celebration on December 4, 5, 11, 12 at Handy Park.
