MH: In one word or phrase, what about Memphis inspires you creatively?
John Paul: Memphis inspires me to aspire to soulfulness.
MH: Who in Memphis do you love to listen to?
John Paul: Don Bryant is one of Memphis' greatest songwriters and a living legend. It's an honor to have worked with him and to know him. His music both old and new inspires and influences mine.
MH: Which place gives you that Memphis vibe?
John Paul For me, the heart of Memphis music is in its recording studios. It's where that Memphis magic gets made before it's shared with the world.
MH: Where can we hear you?
John Paul: I perform every week at 8 PM Central for my "Mondays in Memphis" at johnpaulkeith.com/livestream/ (via YouTube Live). I've recently launched a Bandcamp subscription service where I am sharing exclusive unreleased music every month with my biggest fans.
