Want to party on a Memphis rooftop? The Peabody Hotel is where you need to go! For 80 years, the historic downtown hotel spends the spring and summer hosting throw-downs every week.

They’re hugely popular – the rooftop can hold hundreds of people, and you can expect live music and lots of drinks every Thursday night from April to October. Plus, it’s one of the best places to see the sunset over the Mississippi River.

The parties are every Thursday from April through August, usually in the evenings from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. It's $10 to get in (some evenings are $15) but ladies and hotel guests can get in free before 7 p.m. They have drinks and food for sale.

Peabody Rooftop Parties are 21 and up only, and decidedly adult affairs. You can also get VIP Passes for $150 which give you admission to 19 parties, the VIP Lounge and the special food and drink offerings therein, valet parking, and a 20 percent discount to all of the Peabody's restaurants
