365 Things to Do in Memphis, #22: Irish Brunch

It might seem a wee bit crazy to suggest that you sit on a porch on a Sunday morning in January, but I'm going to do it anyway. Assignment #22 is to have an Irish brunch at Celtic Crossing. Brunch at Celtic Crossing, Memphis, Tenn. I recommend sitting on the porch because it's the best place to listen to the five-piece band play traditional Irish music while you eat an omelet and drink mimosas. The band starts around noon and plays until about 3 p.m. midtown-brunch-celtic-crossing-french-toast The French Toast is A+. Don't worry about the cold - in the winter, the porch is enclosed in plastic (Update Jan 2015: the patio at Celtic Crossing is now enclosed and really nice!) to keep the wind out, and the staff fires up giant outdoor heaters.
