Happy 200th birthday, Shelby County! This Sunday, the cities of Shelby County come together at Shelby Farms for a big celebration for two centuries of awesomeness. Expect live music, lots of games and activities, food and drink, and a fireworks finale over Hyde Lake.

Celebrate Shelby is open from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and it's free to enter. You can bring your kids, lawn chairs, coolers, picnics and strollers. Here's what to expect: - Each local city will have a tent you can visit and get your "county passport" stamped (The passport has a registration for you to enter to win A Taste of Shelby, a collection of gift cards from restaurants representing each municipality!
