The ARRIVE Hotel in downtown Memphis has a lineup of food and drink concepts to serve you day and night. In the lobby you'll find the cafe, Hustle & Dough, along with Bar Hustle and the check-in desk all in one cozy, eclectic room. There's an ample amount of cozy (and aesthetically pleasing) seating to enjoy your cup of coffee.  They use Mammoth Coffee Co. to brew up their staple signature drinks like bourbon mocha and carrot cake latte.

Downtown's newest coffee shop. Jay's Coffee & Cuisine got their start in Millington before opening a second location in downtown at the former Tamp & Tap spot. They offer a full breakfast menu with breakfast burritos, bowls, pancakes and more. Plenty of space to work remote here too.

Memphis Chess Club

This spot has a little bit of everything. Not only is it a really chic chess-inspired full-service cafe (many of the tables double as chess boards) but they also offer 100+ cocktail options, pizzas and a breakfast menu. There is constant programming here from chess tournaments to open mic and trivia nights. This is a great remote work space too. They have plenty of seating and if you prefer to be more tucked away, head upstairs.

City & State

Broad Avenue's hip coffee shop meets all your hangout needs—plenty of coffee, espresso and pastry options, plus several seating options including 1-2 person tables, a community table, and outdoor seating with one of the most iconic murals in the city. They are in the process of phasing out their full retail shop which means even more indoor seating options. A great work remote location.

Cooper House Project

This Cooper-Young brewery also doubles as a morning/early afternoon coffee house. They offer a great list of pour over offerings (roughly six during our last visit) at the time featuring Heart Coffee from Portland and Rigby Roasters in Memphis.  Go for a delicious pour over and stick around for a pint. They also offer espresso, seasonal drinks, tea, and cold brew.

Java Cabana

A reddit thread once asked, "is java Cavaba still chill"? The answer? Absolutely. They don’t just serve drinks, they build community through karaoke, open mics, Saturday morning cartoons, and more. They're always adding fun events into the mix like burlesque, drag shows and game nights. Coffee is all from local roasters and they have a bakery menu with scones, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls and more.

Suburbs (Germantown / Bartlett / Collierville)

Carrington Oaks Coffeehouse

Nestled in Collierville, this is the perfect gathering space over coffee. Lattes, macchiatos, homemade French toast—you name it, they have it! They recently opened a second location in Lakeland. Bring your pup and chill out, drink, and catch up on work on their super spacious outdoor seating.

Congregation Coffee

One of the newest coffee shops in Germantown built on holy grounds. Perfect spot to cozy up with a cup of Joe on any rainy or sunny day. The interior and exterior decor was perfectly thought out for an airy and spacious feel.

JoJo's Espresso

Head to Germantown for all your coffee and pastry needs. They also have matcha, strawberry mint drop lemonade, honey butter croissants and ham sandwiches, and more. Stay tuned because they decorate the space beautifully according to the times. Previously, JoJo's went full Harry Potter mode for the holidays.

Whether you're into coffee or ice cream, this spot is your one-stop-shop. They have indoor and outdoor seating to stay a while and enjoy your sweet or caffeinated treat. Pro tip: order the Affogato! It's a scoop of your ice cream of choice with two shots of espresso poured over it.

Square Beans Coffee

In Collierville Town Square, one of my favorite coffee spots. You can sit inside, out on the patio, or venture through the square to stop by other local businesses. They’re really good with crafting perfect coffee pairings with the seasons. During the fall, they had a sweet potato latte—it was absolutely amazing!

Voodoo Cafe

Nothing is better than coffee with a treat. At Voodoo Cafe in Bartlett, they specialize in coffee and beignets of all types and flavors. You can mix and match your coffee and beverage based on how you're feeling that day!

Mobile Coffee / Coffee Trucks

Byway Coffee Company

A beloved mobile coffee business in Memphis operating out of a vintage Airstream trailer, serving espresso drinks, drip coffee, non‑coffee beverages, and local pastries while popping up around town at parks, events, and neighborhood spots. Their rotating signature lattes (often with seasonal flavors like Fruity Pebbles cold foam) and community‑centric vibe make it a favorite on wheels — follow their social media for weekly pop‑up locations around Memphis.

Monkeygrass Mayhem

Made by the owners of Magnolia & May, this mobile coffee cart / Airstream brings fun and flavorful drinks around town, often featuring banana‑inspired creations (like iced banana‑mocha lattes that taste like chocolate‑covered frozen bananas) plus pastries and other goodies. Check their social for where they’ll park next.

Just thought you might update this post since Comeback has closed. Also wondering if you might include the Pharmacy Coffeehouse in Bartlett. Thanks
