I recently saw Wicked for the first time with my platonic life partner, who is the complete opposite of me. She has been joking around for years how much we're like Elphaba and GAlinda. It was beyond special to be able to finally see it with her!

Lion KIng...hands down is my favorite.  First time I saw it at The Orpheum I said that we must come back and bring our college age children!  Then, on my first trip to NYC, I had to see Lion King thinking it would be more than fabulous there.  NOPE, just as wonderful as at The Orpheum!  Can't wait to see it again and this time bring my GRANDCHILDREN!!

We really enjoyed Wicked. My boyfriend had never been to a show at the Orpheum and only agreed to go to make me happy. After the performance, he couldn't stop smiling and telling me how it exceeded his expectations! It was a great night!

I have so many memories of the Orpheum. When I was a teenager they were going to turn it into a parking lot but a really cool guy at my church founded Friends of the Orpheum to keep it going. Our church youth group volunteered to run concessions, clean up, usher - anything to keep the doors open. Eventually, it was renovated and "big ticket" shows started coming. I think the best one I saw there was Yul Brenner in The King and I. He gave us all autographed photos. I'm 50 years old, but it sure doesn't seem like that long ago. I'm just happy the Orpheum is still going strong.

One of my favorite memories as a child is getting all dressed up in my new Christmas Dress and going to see the Nutcracker with my family. Afterwards we would always eat at the Spaghetti Warehouse and sit in the trolley car. Great memories and I hope to carry on the tradition with my own children someday.
