If you've never heard Amy play before, she's a tiny woman with a giant upright bass that she alternately plucks lovingly and slaps around like she's teaching it a lesson. Her songs are heartbreak anthems (especially the ones on her last record, "Stranger Me"), but she's not at all bitter.
