365 Things to Do in Memphis #192: Memphis' Tallest Piece of Public Art
Measuring 152 feet by 58 feet, the "A Note of Hope" mural is the tallest piece of public art in the city. Assignment #192 in the 365 Things to Do in Memphis is to go see it.
The mural “A Note of Hope” was painted by Chicago mural artist Jeff Zimmerman. It’s creation was a partnership between the Rhodes College Center for Outreach in the Development of the Arts and building owner Chick Hill.
The easiest way to see it is to drive West on Madison into downtown. It’ll be on the left, facing East, right next to Autozone Park. You can get a closer look from the bluff seats at AutoZone Park.
