Memphis Mystery Train Set List: April 12, 2012

It's that time again - WEVL's annual spring pledge drive starts tomorrow. It's that magical time when we come to you and ask for your financial support to help keep our little non-profit station on the air. As a programmer, it's a week when I get to do a special theme show to remind you guys why you like WEVL so much.

Pledge Week!

This year, I'm going to leave the theme up to you. Suggest a topic for next week's show. Broad topics work best (past theme shows have included "Drinking" and "Fighting"), and the more ridiculous the theme, the better. All suggestions will be considered, one will be chosen. Nominate your theme in the comments.

In the meantime, here's what I played on this week's Memphis Mystery Train, with the local tracks marked with an asterisk:

Elvis Costello - This Is Hell

As inspired by Agnst in My Pants, I nominate a clothing theme.

Pfffft
How about a "Just this once, I won't play any Ramones" theme?

I could do that. There are some weeks that I don't play them, but they're few and far between.

An all-Iggy/Stooges show would be great
