There are a ton of things to do and see at Shelby Farms - bison, an incredible playground, trails, a yurt - but today's assignment is to see the T-Rex.

The T-Rex is lit up every December as part of the annual Starry Nights drive-thru holiday light extravaganza, but the rest of the year, he just hangs out by one of the park's lakes, mouth open, tiny arms outstretched as if yearning for a hug.

He's really kind of cute. You can see him along the road that leads to the Woodland Discovery Playground.
