In other news:

- Alas, poor Tigers. Yesterday's game against Murry State can hardly be called the team's best work. From the start, things were off: FedExForum announcer Chuck Roberts made one of the most awkward flubs one could make when he accidentally introduced John Calipari as the current head coach. Poor Chuck - in all of the seasons that I've heard him at the Forum, that's possibly the biggest mistake he's ever made. Go easy on him, ok? As for the team, they've got a week to get things together before they play Louisville.

- Memphis in May is cleaning house, which means that they've got all kinds of festival goodies (like t-shirts, cookbooks and more) from previous years on sale, starting at $1. The sale runs from today until Friday, Dec. 16 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the MIM headquarters at 45 S. Main.

- If you've always wanted to see the wonder that is the Flashback holiday display without risking a wreck, now you can.

- Similarly, if you've always wanted to see a bunch of dogs on parade in their holiday finest, you can do that here.
