Send Me Your Memphis Halloween Costume Ideas, Win Tickets to a Costume Party
I'm working on a post on some DIY Memphis-themed Halloween costumes for this week, but I'd love your input.
Whether you're planning one this year or have an idea that you'd like to try eventually, I'd love to hear your ideas for great locally-themed Halloween costumes (and no, Steve Jobs doesn't count).
Here's what's in it for you: the contributor for my favorite idea will win two tickets to the Friends For Life Halloween party at Bridges on Oct. 29th (aka, the best costume party of the year).
Submit your ideas in the comments, via Twitter or Facebook by 9 a.m. on Oct. 11th to be eligible for the tickets.
Even if you don't win, maybe you'll see your idea included in the I Love Memphis Halloween costume guide this week.

My first idea was half David Pickler - with the salt-and-pepper Pat Riley comb-back, goatee he wore briefly and 3-piece suit on the right side of my body and Shea Flinn - brown floppy wave of hair, clean shaven with a standard frat boy sport coat and slacks - on the left half carrying a board with a schoolhouse painted on it broken apart, but I wasn't sure people would get it.
My next idea is to do a Peabody duck with my partner dressed as a duckmaster, but we're not going to be able to pull it off for this year.

A Memphis Tiger of course! Paint your face, wear a mini skirt with tiger print leggings, a blue feather boa, ears, M earrings, etc. You can add whatever political positions you side with on pins to wear on your tiger costume.
