365 Memphians - Heather Trussell 297 / 365
Heather Trussell is a violinist with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra. She's involved in the orchestra's Opus One series, which features a symphony ensemble playing with a local musician (past shows have included Amy LaVere, Harlan T. Bobo and the one on Nov. 10 features rapper Al Kapone). In other news: - The University of Memphis won a football game! Huzzah! The Tigers beat Tulane yesterday at Tulane, 33-17, bringing their record to 2-6. - Downtown's got a new transportation option - pedicabs. They're giant tricycles with covered seats that will take you just about anywhere downtown. Rides are free, but don't forget your cash - the drivers work for tips. - Summer is definitely over, and most of the area farmers markets are closing up for the season this week. Only one - the Cooper-Young Community Farmer's Market at First Congo - will stay open year-round. - If you (or someone you know) is confused about proper Shelby Farms Greenline etiquette, now there's a handy video to help you sort it all out:

I believe the Urban Farms Market at Sam Cooper and Tillman will remain open year-round as well.
