It's a good week for small Memphis history lessons. First, Richard has a short history of the Memphis parks system, which included this awesome promotional poster for the places "where Memphians spend their leisure moments": Secondly, Matthew pointed out that Memphis is all over Retronaut today. They posted a handful of color post cards of Memphis in the 1930s. There are dreamy Technicolor post cards of the Pink Palace, Memphis Zoo, Cossitt Library (in its original state) and more.
