Ghost River Gets Bottled, "Memphis Beat" Gets Cancelled, and the Madison Bike Lane Plans Get Revealed
Though he's originally from Chicago, Adrian Santos is all about Memphis. He runs Revolt Marketing and Artist Management, DJs with Electrocity and runs Do901.com, a site promoting awesome Memphis events. When he's not working, he volunteers with the Memphis Music Foundation and Youth Villages and fosters dogs for the Streetdog Foundation.
In other news:
- Oh, happy day! Ghost River has started selling their Golden Ale in bottles. At the moment, they're just "short fills", which is sort of the bottling equivalent of a preview. You can pick up a six pack for $7 and a case for $24 from their dock.
- Once you've got one of those Ghost River bottles, you may want to pour just a teeny bit out for "Memphis Beat". The set-in-Memphis (but filmed in New Orleans) show about a cop who moonlights as an Elvis impersonator has been cancelled after two seasons.
- If you're curious about how exactly the city plans to get bike lanes onto Madison Ave. in Midtown, they've got a plan. Here's their diagram.
