Amy LaVere is a Memphis-based singer, songwriter and upright bassist. Her most recent record, "Stranger Me", came out earlier this year (and it's definitely worth picking up). Her sound is a little bit country, a little bit heartbroken and a little bit jazzy. Here she is, playing at the Memphis Flyer's Best of Memphis party.
