365 Memphians: Day 250

365 Memphians - Yvonne Bobo
Yvonne Bobo is a midtown-based artist. She primarily works in metals, making giant, kinetic nature-inspired sculptures. You can see her work at Peabody Park, Audubon Park, and in Cooper-Young (she designed the Gingko-shaped bike racks). She's also responsible for the huge, wind-powered garden sculpture at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital's new building. She was photographed in her studio in Cooper-Young.
