Favorite Place: The Remed Mural

Remed Mural, Broad Ave., Memphis, Tenn. Even though this mural by French street artist Guillaume Alby (aka Remed) has been on Broad Ave. since May, I'm still surprised by it every time I see it from Sam Cooper. It's technical name is "Man and Woman Facing Each Other", and it was  inspired by two statues in Overton Park. It was painted freehand, which makes its precise lines incredibly impressive. I love how bright and happy it is, and how it doesn't look like anything else in town.

I love it! Such beautiful type, colors and imagery. Don't think I've seen it, but will check it out next time I'm over there! Thanks for the tip!
