- Creative Cities International checked out vitals, and, good news - Memphis ranked 18th on their list of the 35 cities they measured for various quality-of-life controls (like education, cost of living, housing and surveys of residents about how they feel about the city). Our enthusiastic survey results pushed us ahead of Dallas, Portland, Denver and San Antonio.
- Have you always wanted to run a restaurant, but lacked the, uh, restaurant? Russell Wild can help you with that. He's trying to find someone to lease the fully-equipped, 1,300 sq. foot Escape Alley Sundry. It's only $2,500 per month and includes all of the furniture. If you're interested, message him on Facebook.
- Basketball season may be more than 80 days away, but that didn't stop a handful of the 2011-2012 Tigers from having a late night pick-up game at the Finch center. Consider this a preview.
- If you've had your love for Memphis permanently inked into your skin, I need your help. I'm looking for people with Memphis-themed tattoos for an upcoming story. If you've got one (that's not vulgar), please email me a photo that you don't mind me using and a little bit about the tattoo.
