And there's a Freaker party on South Main this afternoon. The Freakers are a three-person team from North Carolina, makes and sells sock-like beer coozies. They were nice enough to send me home with this skull-and-bones number that's currently keeping my Ruby Red Shiner cold. They're driving cross-country to Las Vegas, but they're stopping along the way to throw down and spread good cheer. The Freakerteam has parked their bright yellow box-truck-turned-lounge outside of Sache on South Main, and they'll be there all afternoon. They're giving away grilled cheese sandwiches. They've also got dance party perfect music, body paint magic tricks. And they greet you with giant hugs. They'll be there from now until they get tired. Go!
