Memphis Mystery Train Set List, 6/9

Today was a special day at the Memphis Mystery Train - I had my first every in-studio guest. Intern Jerel at WEVL Intern Jerel came in to help me revive one of the old Mystery Train host's favorite features: top five songs. Intern Jerel picked out his five favorite tracks and told me (and you) why they were special to him. Great show! Thanks for the Mynabirds. I needed that in my life, and didn't even know it.

Thanks for the list! I didn't realize that Sam the Sham did "Red Hot." His version is much raunchier than the Boppers' version.

Hi, My wife is bugging me about a song you played on Thursday, something about New Orleans and flooding and water, etc. I didn't see it on the playlist but she's sure it was last week between 8-10am she wants to find it. Clues? Thanks Scott

Scott - Hmm. The only thing I could think that it might be would be "Didn't It Rain" by Esquerita.
