North Parkway to Get Bike Lanes, Bojo's to Close This Week, and Davine Prodigy Needs Your Votes

365 Memphians - Kip Gordon
Kip Gordon holds his oven mitt aloft at Muddy's Bakeshop's secret underground bakery. He's the bakery manager at the super-popular local sweet shop. In other news: - North Parkway may be the next Memphis street to get officially designated bike lanes. The wide, shady street makes for an easy commute from East Parkway to downtown. There's going to be a public meeting on the proposed bike lanes at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Rhodes College's Buckman Hall. - Antique lovers and hoarders take note - there are only a few days left to shop at Bojo's Antique Mall, Memphis' most bizzarre purveyor of random stuff. The sprawling, three-story Summer Ave. store is slated to close at the end of the week. - Local t-shirt designer Davine Prodigy has entered a public design contest to win the chance to design a shirt for clothing chain H&M. The five winning designs will be chosen by public vote. To help Davine Prodigy win, vote here.
