Random Beale St. Music Festival Pass Giveaway of the Week - We Have a Winner
Random Beale St. Music Festival Pass Giveaway of the Week - We Have a Winner
The contest is over - we have a winner:
This posse was the first to bring me exactly what I asked for: one red sharpie, a receipt from the Young Ave. Deli and a haiku written on something other than paper:
The haiku reads:
"I brought you a pear
to trade for a spring weekend
down by the river."
Congratulations to Christina, her husband and their friend.
I've got a full set of tickets to the Beale St. Music Festival for one lucky reader. Want them? There are a few conditions:
1. You have to come get them. I'm at Otherlands Coffee right now, and will be here until about 4 p.m.
2. The tickets will go to the first person who brings me the following items: one red pen (or marker - I'm not picky), one receipt from a local restaurant (other than Otherlands, cheaters), and one haiku written on something other than paper detailing why you should get the tickets (must be in proper haiku format).
3. I only have one set of tickets. Once someone meets the necessary requirements to win, they're gone. I'll let you know as soon as that happens, though.
Ready...go!

Great set of rules! Wish I was in Midtown and could snap them up!

What's 'haiku'? I could do the rest, but I'm not driving to Midtown right now ...

I already have my three-day pass :) but this contest is awesome, just for the haiku :)

I'd be all over that, but I'm a past winner, so that may disqualify me. I think I'll rest on my "blue flying monkey in handcuffs" laurels and enjoy my roll of tickets.

Kelly Holland, if you are the Kelly Holland I met at Red Rock Canyon near Las Vegas last Friday (June 10), send me an e-mail. I'd love to swap photos and hear how your trip went!
