- The annual Indie Memphis Film Festival is now accepting submissions for this year's festival (November 3rd - 6th). While the festival typically features mostly regional films, they welcome all kinds of submissions (shorts, documentaries, features, etc.) from all over the world.

- Ballet Memphis is having a free, open rehearsal on Saturday at First Congregational Church in Midtown from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. It's a good way to get a sneak peak of their upcoming performance of "Romeo and Juliet".
