In other news:
- The University of Memphis football team is playing their in-state rivals the University of Tennessee tomorrow at the Liberty Bowl. As it's been pointed out, someone has to win tomorrow's game, meaning that either our losing streak or theirs is going to end.
- When morning radio host John "Bad Dog" McCormack was diagnosed with Leukemia, his friends started "Bad Dog Days" as a way to raise money to help with McCormack's medical treatments. Several area restaurants are contributing to the cause - if you eat at any of these restaurants, they'll contribute to Bad Dog's treatments.
- Don't get all sad because farmers market season is ending. There's going to be a winter farmer's market in Cooper Young in the Tsunami parking lot from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. every Saturday. Expect lots of breads, cheeses and meats.
