Fall flowers and left over Halloween candy on my dining room table. We didn't have many trick or treaters, so all of those KitKats are mine.

In other news: - I'm excited to announce the winners of the Halloween costume contest. In the adult category, the winner was Sarah's excellent Leg Lamp costume. She wins two tickets to see the Memphis Grizzlies at the FedExForum.  In the kids category, the winner (and recipient of two passes to the Memphis Zoo) was baby Issaac, who was dressed as Link. Sunny (dressed as Elvis) swept the pets category - he wins some chew toys from Hollywood Feed. The Memphis-themed category was close (and weirdly sports themed), but baby Nathen's Pouncer bested Stephanie's Allen Iverson. Nathen wins a gift certificate to Muddy's Bakeshop. - Have you voted yet? No? Then you'd better make some time tomorrow to head to your polling place and cast your ballot in the Midterm elections. I'll be passing out free hugs to anyone that comes up to me wearing an "I Voted!" sticker. - Do you like to cook? Do you love taking abuse? Have you always wanted to be on TV? There are going to be auditions for Fox's "Hell's Kitchen" at the Hard Rock Cafe at 10 a.m. on November 17th. You have to be 21 to try out.
