A Basketball Schedule, a Delivery and a Taste Test
A Basketball Schedule, a Delivery and a Taste Test
At the suggestion of just about everyone, I stopped by Miss Cordelia's last night to pick up a pint of Bravo Gelato. It's a Nashville favorite that's now available in Memphis. At $6 a pint, it's definitely pricey, but totally worth it.
In other news:
- Oh, happy day! The University of Memphis has released their full men's basketball schedule. Excuse me while I sit here and listen to "Knuck If You Buck" and bounce around in anticipation of my favorite Memphis season.
- The Trolley Stop Market recently started delivering their tasty pizzas to Midtown and Downtown. I'm not sure if you can get other menu items delivered, though. If you're not sure if your address is in their delivery area, give them a call at (901) 526-1361. If only they could deliver breakfast crepes to my house.
- When I wrote about the proposed Midtown Overlay last week, there was some joking on Twitter that it sounded like a new drink special at the Cove or the Hi-Tone. After some deliberation about the ingredients, I'm proud to announce the first (and probably last) Midtown Overlay tasting. It's happening at the Cove tomorrow night at 8 p.m., if you'd like to taste what happens when you drop a shot of whiskey into some PBR.
