Memphis Gets a Skate Park, South Memphis Gets Some Love

Matthew in the Mirror, Memphis, Tenn.
I came home this afternoon to find that Matthew had drawn a little self portrait on the hallway mirror. I tried to do one underneath it, but it didn't turn out as well. It's hard to trace your own reflection. In other news: - Memphis is getting a skate park! It's going to be in Tobey Park (near the school board). The $440,000 public skate park will be the first one in Memphis. It's going to open in the fall of 2011. - Congratulations to the South Memphis Farmer's Market. They got some major love from the White House today. There's a huge story on the Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships site today praising the new urban market.
