Here's a fun fact for you: most of the country's paper 3-D glasses are made right here in Memphis. American Paper Optics cranks out millions of disposable 3-D glasses every year for DVDs, magazines, advertisements, toys and promotions at their Bartlett warehouse. They've made glasses for everything from the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue to invitations to Bar Mitzvahs. When I went to visit on Friday, they sent me home with a handful of pairs. Sadly, none of them make my office a 3-D wonderland where blog posts and cups of coffee come flying towards me. Alas, alas.
