Holly and the Heathens Release a Brand New Record
Holly and the Heathens Release a Brand New Record
Veteran Memphis singer-songwriter Holly Cole has a brand new band (the Heathens), and a brand new record full of sweet, boozy country songs.
My favorite track is "All That Was Lost", a break-up song / cautionary tale that would be completely at home on a Dolly Parton record.
Grab a friend and a flask and get ready to shuffle around the floor - Holly and the Heathens are having a CD release party Saturday night at the Hi-Tone with Jeffery James and the Haul. It starts at 10 p.m., and cover is $5.
