New Ballet Gets a Hand, the Grizz Get Drafted and CK's Gets an Update

Committment, Memphis, Tenn.
Commitment Cancer Survivors Park, Memphis, Tenn. In other news: - Memphis' New Ballet Ensemble got a visit from Al Roker and his Lend a Hand truck this morning. He brought them two vehicles (a 15 passenger van and a pick up truck) and raised more than $800,000 for New Ballet School and Nashville flood relief. Congratulations! - Local all-night diner chain CK's has a new owner, and he's making some changes to the 5 area coffee shops. Interiors are being redone, menus are being added to, and most importantly, all of the restaurants will now accept credit cards. - It's NBA draft day and the Memphis Grizzlies have three first round picks. Here's a list of the potential new Grizzlies - let's hope they're a good bunch. - If you're looking for something to do tonight, it's beer bust night at the Poplar Lounge, there's a top shelf liquor tasting on South Main, and there's going to be a screening of GODS, a Peruvian film, at the Brooks Museum.
