Cookies from Panaderia de Ilusion on American Way. They're the perfect finish to tacos from Tacos Borolas (located next door).
In other news:
- After years of waiting, it's finally official: Bass Pro will be moving into the Pyramid downtown on a 55-year lease. Their plan is to turn the empty, reflective triangle into a "$100 million regional center with retail shops, restaurants, offices and a Mississippi River exhibit".
- It's fitting that Graceland would announce that they'd found some never-before-seen Elvis photos on the day I visit a rock'n'roll photo exhibit. The photos show Elvis greeting fans at the gates of Graceland.
- Tomorrow night is community climb night at the Bridges Center. Anyone can climb their indoor rock wall for $15. All you have to do wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes. The event starts at 6 p.m., and you can make reservations by calling (901) 260-3793.
